Many of you using truecaller for searching different mobile numbers details. Many times you are amazed when we see a name of a person who called you last. Many time a question is comes in our mind, how true caller work, how they show number which i didn't saved in my contact list. In this article we talk about truecaller. If i tell you about techinical concept of truecaller then its very easy and easily understandable. Truecaller use crowdsourcing to inform you about details of different numbers. They share your details to different user and other person details to you. When you install truecaller application in your mobile phone then your personal information is saved to truecaller servers. They sink all of your personal data on his server. They have millions of users and ever user have many contact in his phone and truecaller save all contacts are on there servers. Just think you got a call and that number is not saved in your mobile phone but the chances is that number is save in one phone of that million of users of truecaller. So, truecaller just search that number and show all information about that number on your mobile screen. But the name is not exact because some time number is save with different names in different mobile phones. So about your privacy, any one can easily search your number! In that case you just easily go to truecaller website and remove your number. If you think you have a standard mobile phone not a smartphone, so your data is protected. Then am sorry your data is not safe at all because you number is saved in your family members phones, your friends phone,etc who have a smartphone and possibly they installed truecaller.

If you go on truecaller privacy policy page on truecaller website, then you see which information they can collect from your mobile phone. This information may include e.g.: geo-location; your IP address; device ID and unique identifier; device manufacturer and type; device and hardware setting; SIM card usage; application installed on your device; ID for advertising; ad data, operator system; web browser; operator; IMSI; connection information; screen resolution; usage statistics; default communication application; access to device address book; device log and event information; logs, keyword and meta data of incoming and outgoing calls and messages; version of the services.
If i tell you about there permissions then you shocked, there permission is camera, contacts, location, microphone, phone, SMS, storage. They help us but they collect lot of information of these permissions, they collects our gallery information, sms, they record our calls and message information, They track your microphone when ever they want, track your location, etc. If you think how they earn? Then first is they earn from ads, when ever you open there site you see ads, when you take a call you see a banner ads and many more. Second is data sharing, as compare to ads they earn more from data sharing. For example any company who see students products in India then that company contact to truecaller and buy all information about all students. So, that's how true caller earn from data sharing.
CONCLUSION
We always blaming Facebook for sharing our personal information on internet but apps like true caller share more information than Facebook. If you think about your privacy, how you protect our self from tuecaller, then i tell you how. First method is go to google website and delete your number, but this method is not fully protected. Second method is go to truecaller application information in your phone, then click on permissions and off all. Again this is not protect you at all but it help you so much.
